Clacton started off brightly by keeping possession and working the Lexden keeper. Tom Croake opened the scoring for the visitors after a great run down the wing. Their second soon followed when Ellis Turner chipped the keeper. In the second half Clacton were playing against the wind and after some scrappy play they conceded. The home side kept up the pressure and equalised. Clacton kept battling and after several missed chances their third and final goal came from Matty Stewart
