My player of the month vote
goes to Matt Cripps. I would
mention that they all (and the
manager) deserve a medal for the
effort the team put in.

Bob,

In answer to your query about Steve Pitt, I can assure you (I have seen him play) that the current FC Clacton manager did NOT play for Spurs or Colchester unless it was on the PlayStation!!

Hello there,
I would just like to know if the Manager at Clacton FC, Steve Pitt, is the same Steve Pitt who played for Tottenham Hotspur and Colchester United in the late sixties?
Thank you.
Bob Weeks (curious Tottenham fan)

Awful game at Stanway on Wednesday, possibly one of the worst I have seen at this level, but a very good result for the Seasiders. Some very talented players such a Coleman and Ribchester looked like strangers to the game. It does make me wonder when you have two managers who have been involved in the game at a full time level, why they cannot make their players do the easy thing and just pass the ball to each other instead of just banging it long all the time. I felt like asking for my entrance fee back.
