WELCOME TO THE FC CLACTON WEBSITE - THE HOME OF THE SEASIDERS.....

SEASIDERS WELCOME NEW GIRLS TEAM

FC Clacton are delighted to announce that the very successful Under 14’s girls team are joining us from Clacton United.  We want to wish a very warm welcome to Rob, Lee, Karen and all the girls and we cannot wait to watch their games next year as our Under 15s!

Their first training session at Rush Green is this Friday at 6pm and they are looking for more players.  So if you are in years 8 or 9 and would like to be involved with a successful team that is an important part of a great Club, then please do come along - or please feel free to message us at Stephen@fcclacton.com for further details.

For the 2013/14 season, our League Championship winning Under 12’s girls will move up to Under 13’s and we also have a new Under 11’s girl’s team starting training on Saturday 29th June at 10.00am.  So we are delighted to have girl’s teams covering all ages as Under 11’s, Under 13’s, Under 15’s and then from the age of 16, playing in our ladies team.

We proudly treat girls and ladies football with the equal respect it deserves, no different to our boys teams or our many mixed mini soccer teams.  Never merely as a tick on a charter standard form, as we offered girls & ladies football many years before our Charter Standard application!  We truly believe that offering 'football for all' is how a true Community Club should be run and never in a 'boys only' or 'girls only' environment.  The FA agreed by awarding us Community Club Charter Standard status - the highest award they can give!

So if you or any girls you know are interested in football and want to represent Clacton's oldest, largest & only Senior Club (that also just happens to be the best), then please get in touch.
